Geographic Scope
CIFOR and ICRAF are particularly prominent in Asia and Africa, with a growing presence in Latin America. CIFOR’s headquarters are located in Bogor, Indonesia, while ICRAF has its main office in Nairobi, Kenya. They have offices in 27 countries.

Born from the alliance of CIFOR-ICRAF, Landscape Alliance aims to harness the power of science and innovation to improve the benefits that forests, trees, soils and their sustainable management can provide to all of humankind, for a more resilient, equitable and prosperous future.
Work Scope
Connecting science with action to harness the catalyzing effect of trees and forest landscapes, Landscape Alliance works at the intersection of climate change, biodiversity and food security with value chains and equity.
Through inclusive partnerships, demand-driven innovation and participatory research approaches that create solutions from the ground up, they prioritize sustainable agriculture transformation, climate resilience, and community empowerment.
